Drone text and graphics usually face the main audience area. If the audience is dispersed in multiple directions, you need to choose in advance or design a more general pattern.
Text-based images are very sensitive to direction, and temporary adjustments to the viewing surface may result in rework of both animation and on-site processes.
If a promotional video is needed on site, the main camera position should be as consistent as possible with the main viewing surface to avoid the audience seeing something completely different from the final video.
Formal plans will incorporate event location, weather windows, pattern complexity, viewing surfaces, on-site procedures and safety boundary confirmations.
